Nothing seek, nothing find. (何も求めない, 何も見つかりません。, Nani mo motomenai, nani mo mitsukarimasen) is the 44th chapter of The Ancient Magus' Bride manga written by Kore Yamazaki.

Synopsis[]

Chise continues to explore the history of Cartaphilus and Joseph together, witnessing the reason behind their curse and Joseph's plead for help. Upon waking up, Joseph goes ahead and tries to strike at Chise for having seen his past, but is saved by Titania, Ruth and Elias as they arrive to help her. Followed by Renfred, Alice, Will o' The Wisp and Spriggan as they end up facing off against chimeras created by the now increasingly frustrated Joseph. He tries to escape but is quickly followed by Chise, Ruth, and Elias.

As they continue to pursue the ancient Sorcerer through a landscape similar to that of London, Mariel appears before them but is quickly turned down in order to continue their chase for Joseph. Mariel goes ahead and reveals her ability to transform as she takes the appearance of a bull, picking Chise up and helping her reach Joseph. As they finally manage to reach the Sorcerer, Chise begins to question Joseph and the man answers her by stating her inability to understand his position and what he has gone through. Chise counters with stating the Sorcerers crimes while also telling him how she feels about him, stating that they are the reasons behind why she must destroy him.
