Fae

Neighbor is the fae's preferred title, along with "dear friends". They are invisible to most humans and allow sorcerers to borrow their power to create miracles. They are different from gods.

The queen of fairies is Titania, and their king is Oberon. They live in small world known as the Land of Fairies. The entrance nearest Elias is known as the Anthill.

Aerials

Small and bird-like faerie that look innocent but are quite mischievous. They are related to elements such as wind and fire and flutter in groups. The power they grant relate to what images these elements invoke in the sorcerer. For example, the power of wind is excellent for purification and guiding.

Changeling

Faerie that are placed in the crib of a human child who is taken by fairies. Changelings that live are raised by humans but notice they are different as they age much slower in adulthood. Shannon is a changeling, who married the child she replaced when she returned to the Anthill.

Black Grim

A pure black dog that resides at a church and chases away grave robbers. It is possible that a normal dog can be reborn as a black grim. Usually, they are only dogs, but Ruth, who thought he was human, can transform into a human.

Brownie

Helpful faeries that like to live houses and gardens. They include Silkies like Silver.

Vampire

Blood sucking faeries. There are subtypes like Lindenbaums that exchange blood for talent.

Will-o-wisp

A small cloaked faerie that carry a lantern that is lit with coal. They guide souls to the other side.

Magic Creatures

Not all magical beings are counted as neighbors. Non sentient creates include cotton flies, a harmless creature that absorbs the cold and produces a fluff similar to cotton that is sought after as magic material.
