Introduction

Forgive and forget. (許して忘れよ。, Yurushite wasure yo) is the 18th episode of the first season of The Ancient Magus Bride anime.
Synopsis[]
Following her promise to Chise, Stella visits the Elias household and delivers the sweets she made for Chise and Elias. Soon, Elias leaves the house without leaving a note, and Chise pursues him. When she finally catches up to Elias, she's trapped by him, and he succumbs to his apparition nature. Eventually, Chise unintentionally sings a lullaby to a restless Elias that causes him to sleep for days. Hence, Chise visits Angie's workshop for Angie's help and meets her husband, David. After this visit, Chise creates a potion that awakens Elias from his slumber, but makes Chise pass out from exhaustion.
Summary[]
A new day brews, and Stella visits Chise at her home, bringing with her sweets, and goes on to spend some time with her. Elias doesn’t appear to have a problem with it and spends his time in his study room while Stella and Chise talk in her room. Amid her talk with Stella, Chise notices that Elias left home without leaving a note prompting her to follow him and have Ruth guide Stella home.
Chasing after Elias, Chise soon finds herself unable to keep up with her teacher and transforms into a Werebeast once more to pursue him, a chase ending with her being trapped by the Thorn Mage. Within a small confined area, Chise talks with Elias A small glimpse of Stella shows her together with her family before feeling something sting against her neck, showcasing both Joseph and Ashen Eye shortly afterward. Ruth returns only to learn from Silver Lady that the others haven’t come home yet, so he searches for them. Chise reveals her position, and Ruth finds her with the help of the Goddess of Spring. Chise gets Elias to free her before returning home and heading to bed.
A few days later, Chise visits Angie’s shop to seek her help, meeting her husband David and their daughter while she’s there. Chise explains that Elias refuses to wake up, to which Angie suggests that Chise might have unintentionally sung him to sleep using a magical lullaby. Chise and Ruth return home and creates a cure for Elias that manages to wake him up, only to have Chise fall asleep due to exhaustion.
Meanwhile, at the Dragons' Aerie, two dragonlings find themselves being snagged by poachers, Lindel and Paulina, along with Selkie, attempt to save them. Still, they soon teleport themselves away after Joseph greets them through one of the poachers.
