Episode 1: April showers bring May flowers.
Chise Hatori is bought by Elias Ainsworth and becomes his apprentice. After being welcomed to Elias' home, Chise is lured by the Jade Ariel to the gateway that leads to the "Faerie Kingdom", but Chise refuses to go and returns home with Elias.
Episode 2: One today is worth two tomorrows.
Chise is introduced to and learns more about the creature known as Silky before traveling with Elias to London. Both of them meet up with Angelica Barley and her familiar. Without knowing Chise's true nature as a Sleigh Beggy, Angelica teaches Chise about Magic in practice and theory. On their way home, Chise and Elias briefly talk about the apprentice's past before being greeted by a priest at their doorstep. While Chise is introduced to Simon, the priest hands out three new tasks for Elias, starting at the Dragons' Aerie on Island. Once they arrive, Chise is captured by a dragon and its rider.
Episode 3: The balance distinguishes not between gold and lead.
Led to the Dragons' Aerie, Chise becomes acquainted with the rider who stole her from Elias and its local inhabitants. One of them was Nevin, an ancient dragon not long for the world and eager to return to the earth.
Episode 4: Everything must have a beginning.
Awakening sometime after passing out during her trip in the Dragons' Aerie, Chise and Elias ends up in Ulthar, a place heavily populated with cats. A quiet and quaint town, with a deep dark history concerning the lake.
Ambushed by Sorcerers Renford and his partner Alice, Chise learns from them her fate as a Sleigh Beggy. However, she's immediately rescued by Elias and then performs the task she was assigned by him and, in the process, learns what led up to the creation of the corruption.
Two weeks pass since Chise purified the corruption at the lake in Ulthar, and she's yet to awaken from her sleep. Thanks to the help from Oberon, the King of the Fae, Chise awakens from her deep slumber and is introduced to Oberon and his wife, Titania.
